Description

  • Support external customers in analyzing current business processes and documenting business, management, and software requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in federal financial management using CGI Momentum Financials.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and decompose complex needs into epics, features, and user stories in a SAFe Agile environment.
  • Review, consolidate, and update existing requirements, artifacts, and repositories with external customers.
  • Map requirements to Momentum Financials to identify what can be addressed through configuration.
  • Maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix from elicitation through testing and implementation.
  • Assist in developing the implementation plan and roadmap, including dependencies across system interfaces, data conversion, and federal reporting requirements.
  • Identify, log, and manage program risks and dependencies.
  • Perform analysis of alternatives for complex requirements and present recommendations to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting system implementation efforts, including requirements analysis, process design, validation, testing, or implementation planning.
  • Experience managing requirements using Agility or JIRA.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with senior management and clients.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or a similar field.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented, customer-service mindset with strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and obtain a government clearance.
  • Experience with CGI Momentum Financials.
  • Federal financial management or VA experience preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, with SAFe preferred.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in place of a degree in recruitment-related experience as stated in the posting.
