Description

  • Advise qualified leads on course selection and enrollment based on their education needs and career goals.
  • Manage the student application process, including scheduling and conducting interviews and keeping applicants informed.
  • Communicate the value of HyperionDev’s programs and maintain engagement with prospective students throughout the sales cycle.
  • Handle a high volume of prospective students across phone, SMS, video calls, email, and chat.
  • Work toward KPIs and exceed admissions targets set by the Vice President of Revenue.
  • Learn and master the course offerings through training and independent research.
  • Host and lead virtual and in-person information sessions and sales events to convert prospects.
  • Support the training and development of junior admissions staff when needed.
  • Complete admissions administration accurately and with strong attention to detail.
  • Identify opportunities for new business in the market.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of exposure to the tech industry in Africa.
  • 2+ years of professional, full-time sales experience in a closing sales role.
  • 1+ years of experience working through complex sales cycles with multiple touch points and decision makers.
  • 2+ years of experience meeting revenue targets and performance quotas.
  • 2+ years of experience managing an accurate pipeline and reporting from a CRM.
  • Ability to record productivity and maintain sales CRM systems, spreadsheets, and market data.
  • Fast learner with meticulous attention to detail and near-perfect verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and positive attitude with an interest in the future of education and online learning.
  • Prior experience in an education or e-learning space is preferred.
  • Understanding or knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python is preferred.
  • Related Marketing, Commerce, or Tech Bachelor’s or Honours Degree is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in digital marketing and lead generation is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in a team leadership or senior role is preferred.
  • Willingness to work shift hours when needed.
