Description

  • Deliver engaging, compliant seminars that explain product features and benefits to teachers.
  • Tailor seminar content for clarity, relevance, and alignment with industry standards.
  • Generate quality leads through seminars and support quoting, binding, or handoff to the internal sales team.
  • Guide educators through the enrollment process and answer product-related questions.
  • Partner with school staff to schedule, organize, and manage seminar sessions and logistics.
  • Maintain required licenses, including securities licenses for retirement products.
  • Stay current on product updates, compliance requirements, and industry trends.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with teachers before, during, and after seminars.
  • Provide follow-up that encourages continued engagement and trust.
  • Work with internal teams to refine seminar content, share feedback, and improve sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, consulting, or customer-facing roles.
  • Experience in educational settings is preferred.
  • Property & Casualty license is required.
  • Life & Health license may be required later as business needs change.
  • FINRA Series 6 and 63 may be required later as business needs change.
  • Strong product knowledge with the ability to explain complex benefits clearly.
  • Proven sales ability, including guiding customers from interest through enrollment.
  • Excellent seminar presentation and event coordination skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess seminar performance, interpret feedback, and refine strategies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% across multiple states within an assigned geography.

Benefits

  • Remote position.
  • Extensive national travel opportunity with 75% travel.
  • Base salary of $60,000 to $90,000.
  • Target incentive of $25,000 with a 0–200% range, subject to annual review.
  • Pay is commensurate with experience, location, and other relevant factors.
