Description

  • Translate Supplemental and Group strategic priorities into actionable plans, workstreams, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Lead multiple complex initiatives across Product, Distribution, Marketing, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Customer Experience.
  • Establish ownership, milestones, dependencies, resource plans, and accountability for key initiatives.
  • Develop recommendations, identify risks and tradeoffs, and escalate significant decisions appropriately.
  • Provide leaders with visibility into progress, risks, decisions, and business outcomes.
  • Manage, coach, develop, and allocate work for an initial team of two employees.
  • Support product commercialization, distribution enablement, go-to-market execution, and organizational readiness.
  • Develop repeatable processes, evaluate outcomes, and drive continuous improvement across initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Insurance industry experience in individual Supplemental Insurance, Group Employee Benefits, or both.
  • Experience across multiple insurance value-chain functions, such as Product, Distribution, Operations, Marketing, Administration, Technology, or Customer Experience.
  • Prior people leadership experience, including employee development, workload management, prioritization, and performance management.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience operating in ambiguity, structuring complex problems, and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Experience with product commercialization, distribution enablement, go-to-market execution, or business readiness preferred.
  • Experience with agents, brokers, TPAs, enrollment organizations, Worksite, Voluntary Benefits, or Group Insurance preferred.

  • Remote work environment.
  • Annual salary of $89,800–$125,500 plus bonus.
  • Periodic travel may be required.
  • Special insurance rates and benefits for educators.
