Description

  • Own and maintain analytics systems and the end-to-end delivery of analytic projects.
  • Analyze complex operational problems and design data-driven solutions that impact the business.
  • Trace metric lineage across transformations to ensure data quality and reliable reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in product, design, engineering, and operations to translate business needs into analytic workstreams.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Generate hypotheses from messy data, run analyses, and implement solutions to validate and drive business outcomes.
  • Share knowledge, mentor other analysts, and contribute to a healthy, inclusive team culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional analytics experience with a track record of owning analytics systems and solving applied business problems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate business needs into concrete requirements while communicating tradeoffs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deep experience with analytics tooling such as Git, Fivetran, Redshift, dbt, and Looker, or equivalent tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and reason about messy, real-world data to generate hypotheses and implement solutions.
  • Familiarity with Python for analysis is a plus.
  • Comfort working in a remote-first environment and collaborating across distributed teams.
