Description

  • Own and evolve the brand’s creative direction across packaging, web, email, and paid social to maintain consistent brand identity.
  • Translate the founder’s vision into briefs, concepts, and execution plans that guide the creative team.
  • Lead, coach, and quality-check designers and render artists to ensure high standards and reliable output.
  • Build and maintain design systems, including templates, guidelines, and asset libraries, to improve production speed without sacrificing quality.
  • Develop performance creative for TikTok and Meta, partnering with growth teams to test, learn, and iterate quickly.
  • Own the packaging production workflow end-to-end, including print specs, file setup, proofing, revisions, and vendor handoff.
  • Create structure for creative operations, such as intake processes, prioritization, review cadences, and naming/version control.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and growth to align launches, messaging, and visual storytelling.
  • Step in hands-on for high-impact work such as art direction, layout, final polish, and launch-critical deliverables.
  • Manage external partners such as printers, photographers, and freelancers while maintaining quality, timelines, and brand standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience owning creative direction for e-commerce or DTC brands from concept through execution.
  • Hands-on experience creating Amazon listing images, A+ / Premium A+ content, and high-end beauty or personal care creative.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, branding, and multi-channel creative execution across paid social, site, email, and product or launch assets.
  • Experience leading and directing designers, render artists, or similar creatives, including feedback and quality control.
  • Hands-on understanding of production workflows, including packaging files, print specs, file formats, and real-world production constraints.
  • Experience with performance-driven creative for TikTok and/or Meta, including building for testing, iteration, and learning.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure, priorities, and processes with a high-ownership mindset.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across marketing, product, and growth in a remote environment.
  • Prior creative direction experience in dermatology, skincare, beauty, or closely related categories is preferred.
  • Experience developing TikTok-native creative approaches, such as UGC concepts, creator briefs, and hook frameworks, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with managing or collaborating on 3D/render workflows and teams is preferred.
  • Experience building internal creative capability after relying on agencies, including processes, standards, and hiring or bench building, is preferred.
