Description

  • Evaluate liability early and continuously, identify risk factors, and provide organized case insights to support case strategy.
  • Manage a full caseload from intake through resolution while keeping all files moving and follow-ups timely.
  • Keep clients actively treating by guiding next steps, addressing barriers, and maintaining consistent progress through medical care.
  • Serve as the primary client contact by delivering clear, professional communication and setting realistic expectations.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, vendors, and insurance parties to prevent delays and keep records, bills, and updates flowing.
  • Maintain detailed case notes, documentation, and task tracking so files remain audit-ready and easy to transfer.
  • Handle insurance-related follow-ups, status checks, and documentation coordination.
  • Drive medical record and billing requests, follow-through, and organization for case use.
  • Proactively identify missing treatment, documentation, or liability information and close gaps before they cause delays.
  • Support preparation of settlement-related materials such as demand packages, case summaries, or treatment narratives.

Requirements

  • Meaningful experience as a pre-litigation case manager in personal injury.
  • Strong liability judgment and critical thinking with the ability to spot issues and ask the right questions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously without losing details or deadlines.
  • Mature client-facing communication skills with the ability to educate clients, not just provide updates.
  • High organization and attention to detail, especially for documentation, follow-ups, and task management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment and own the file end to end.
  • Experience preparing or supporting demand packages, case summaries, or treatment narratives.
  • Familiarity with PI case management systems such as SmartAdvocate, CasePeer, Litify, or Needles.
  • Filevine experience is preferred.
  • Strong medical terminology knowledge and confidence coordinating records and billing at scale.
  • Experience independently managing 100–125 active PI pre-litigation cases while serving as the primary client contact and coordinating treatment, records, providers, and settlement preparation.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
