Description

  • Define and execute cloud infrastructure strategies aligned with business and customer objectives.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and operational management of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments and support AWS needs.
  • Establish cloud governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across managed services engagements.
  • Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure operations for AMS clients and ensure delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and operational targets.
  • Oversee availability, performance, capacity management, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and patch management.
  • Lead major incident management, problem management, and root-cause remediation efforts.
  • Review and approve secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architecture designs.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop cloud consultants, engineers, and administrators.
  • Manage vendor, stakeholder, and client relationships, including governance reviews, service reviews, and escalations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of overall IT infrastructure experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing cloud infrastructure teams and operations.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
  • Secondary experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Experience supporting enterprise AMS managed services engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure architecture, administration, networking, security, and identity management.
  • Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity planning, monitoring, observability, automation, and cloud governance.
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks, cloud cost management, and ITIL processes.
  • Demonstrated success in cloud governance, budgeting, stakeholder management, and vendor management.
  • Experience with SOC2 audits and remediation, hosting best practices, and CMM/ISO-certified environments.
  • Experience working on RFPs and collaborating closely with CISO/security teams on hosted environment security posture.
  • Oracle OCI professional certifications, Oracle Cloud Architect Professional, AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional, and PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certifications are preferred.
