Description

  • Provide low-latency, context-aware customer support for Highrise infrastructure.
  • Monitor and manage impacts to compute, storage, and network resource pools to meet SLA commitments.
  • Triage inbound customer cases and support customer-driven workflows.
  • Deliver timely incident updates and escalate issues as needed.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, standards, and runbooks.
  • Support SRE fleet-management activities, including firmware and configuration upgrades and planned maintenance.
  • Represent customer needs to product and platform teams.
  • Travel to data centers for cluster commissioning, acceptance, and complex troubleshooting.
  • Assist with critical incidents and maintenance activities outside regular business hours.

Requirements

  • College diploma or university degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience directly supporting customers using network and/or compute infrastructure at scale in 24x7 environments.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong customer-service orientation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-directed, ownership-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborative team mindset and continuous-improvement focus, including automating operational toil.
  • Ability to travel to data centers as required.
  • Flexibility to support critical incidents or maintenance outside regular business hours.
