Description

  • Own and evolve the test automation platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and ease of use.
  • Design and maintain automation frameworks across UI, API, and backend layers.
  • Build and improve internal QA tools that increase test efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of automation best practices, coding standards, and efficient test design.
  • Implement and maintain test observability systems for reporting, analytics, and defect insights.
  • Perform performance, load, and scalability testing for key features and services.
  • Develop and maintain test infrastructure for containerized and distributed environments.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the delivery pipeline.
  • Improve test reliability and flakiness detection through retry and failure analysis systems.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies such as AI/ML and LLM-based test generation to advance automation capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing or automation for web applications, SaaS platforms, or large-scale systems.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
  • Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python for scalable automation code.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
  • Experience working with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Working knowledge of GCP or AWS for test infrastructure and environment setup.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, request validation, and integration testing.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as k6, Locust, or JMeter.
  • Familiarity with test reporting dashboards, metrics tracking, and alerting tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Slack integrations.
  • Strong ability to diagnose failures in distributed systems and understand system design, microservices, databases, and data flow across layers.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted testing or LLM-based test generation is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills with a cross-functional mindset.
