Description

Establish and deliver the product quality strategy using the right mix of automation and manual testing.
Manage, recruit, and lead a quality team of SDETs, test analysts, and a TA lead.
Own the quality of deliverables, workflows, and team relationships across the quality function.
Partner with development technical directors and program managers to align on quality priorities and execution.
Forecast and manage test schedules, dependencies, and resource needs for the product.
Champion software development best practices and advocate for the customer experience.
Design and deliver technical solutions such as frameworks, tests, API hooks, and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Implement metrics, analyze test data, and report risk status to development partners.
Share insights, solutions, and best practices within the team and across Drivetrain.

Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience in a professional environment.
4+ years of hands-on testing experience.
Strong, proven programming skills in Python, Java, or C#.
Experience building automation frameworks, test harnesses, and QA tools.
Experience managing teams and developing engineering talent.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, or Appium.
Experience in API automation.
Passion for quality assurance and software engineering.
