Description

  • Own architecture, design, and development across feature flags, staged rollouts, and customer feedback.
  • Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, integrations, and microservices with strong reliability, security, and performance.
  • Build performant frontend experiences for rollout configuration, flag management, and feedback workflows.
  • Drive technical decisions and independently own complex features from design through production.
  • Design data models, queries, and caching strategies using systems such as MongoDB and Redis for low-latency evaluation.
  • Participate throughout the SDLC, including requirements, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
  • Apply AI-assisted development practices to improve development, testing, debugging, and refactoring.
  • Write clean, secure, testable code with unit and integration coverage.
  • Maintain observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and tracing.
  • Participate in code reviews, incident resolution, operational support, and applicable on-call rotations.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and engineers to deliver scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling backend systems and high-performance frontend applications.
  • Strong Node.js, TypeScript, API development, data modeling, and system design experience; NestJS preferred.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and cross-service communication.
  • Experience with MongoDB and Redis, including data modeling, query design, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures or messaging systems such as GCP Pub/Sub, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
  • Exposure to AI/LLM application development and LLM API integration.
  • Frontend experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular; Vue.js preferred, with component architecture and CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Vuex/Pinia, Redux, or MobX.
  • Production observability and debugging experience with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Sentry.
  • Experience with Agile SDLC practices, Git, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, and appropriate use of document, analytical, and search databases.
  • Experience with AI-assisted developer tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and mentoring abilities.
