Description

  • Lead end-to-end mobile testing and automation for Flutter-based iOS and Android applications.
  • Architect, enhance, and own scalable mobile automation frameworks using tools such as Appium, Flutter Integration Tests, and Espresso.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing to improve test generation, failure analysis, flaky test reduction, and reporting.
  • Define and execute test strategies covering functional, regression, performance, reliability, and non-functional testing.
  • Debug complex issues across automation code, application behavior, device/platform differences, and CI infrastructure.
  • Own release quality through automated regressions, risk assessment, and final QA sign-offs.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Development, and DevOps teams to improve testability and reduce production defects.
  • Mentor and technically guide SDETs and interns while setting coding, review, and automation best practices.
  • Track and report quality metrics, automation ROI, and coverage to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve QA processes to reduce cycle time and increase confidence in releases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile testing and automation with lead-level ownership.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Flutter-based mobile apps and testing frameworks such as Flutter Integration Tests, Appium, and Espresso.
  • Excellent programming skills in Dart, Java, Kotlin, or similar languages.
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining robust, scalable test automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of mobile-specific challenges including platform differences, lifecycle, performance, memory, and network behavior.
  • Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Codemagic, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of API testing and backend dependencies.
  • Ability to perform deep root-cause analysis for automation failures and production issues.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments and driving quality initiatives independently.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Cursor, Copilot, or custom LLM workflows is preferred.
  • Experience with declarative or DSL-based testing approaches is preferred.
  • Mobile performance testing experience covering startup time, FPS, memory, battery, and jank is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud device farms such as Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs is preferred.
  • Passion for mentoring and building high-performing QA teams is preferred.
