Description

  • Write and maintain Playwright end-to-end tests for critical product workflows.
  • Expand automated coverage for dashboards, detection workflows, device management, permissions, and settings.
  • Build regression tests that run automatically on every pull request.
  • Own test-suite and CI-pipeline reliability, including diagnosing and reducing flaky tests.
  • Manage test data, seed data, staging stability, parallelization, and reliable test execution.
  • Use Claude and other AI-assisted browser tools to explore edge cases and identify defects beyond scripted tests.
  • Maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable test architecture.
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on testing requirements and critical workflows.
  • Clearly communicate test failures, bugs, and reliability issues.
  • Proactively improve QA systems and foster trust in automated test results.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of QA, software testing, or test automation experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered with strong automation experience.
  • Strong TypeScript skills and ability to write maintainable test code.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or a similar end-to-end testing framework.
  • Strong understanding of web application testing, DOM interaction, network requests, and asynchronous behavior.
  • Experience creating or maintaining automated regression tests.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot flaky automated tests.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing goals.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Willingness to use and learn AI/LLM tools in testing workflows.
  • Preferred: experience building E2E infrastructure, integrating CI pipelines, managing test data, parallelization, or reporting.
  • Preferred: experience testing complex B2B, multi-tenant, role-based, or multi-step web applications.
  • Preferred: familiarity with React, Claude, Sentry, GCP Stackdriver, or similar tools.
