Description

  • Build, QA, and deploy email and SMS campaigns in Klaviyo against the lifecycle roadmap.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize automated flows such as welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, and review request flows.
  • Manage send schedules and coordinate promotional, lifecycle, and transactional email/SMS sends.
  • Develop dynamic content, personalization, and subscription milestone messaging tied to Recharge and Shopify Plus events.
  • Build and maintain customer segments based on behavioral, transactional, and subscription attributes.
  • Own inbox placement, sender reputation, deliverability monitoring, and list hygiene practices.
  • Maintain a documented pre-send QA checklist and ensure every campaign and flow is tested for rendering, links, personalization, segmentation, and audience size.
  • Serve as Klaviyo platform administrator, including user management, integration health, and troubleshooting platform issues.
  • Reconcile data across Klaviyo, Recharge, Shopify Plus, and Northbeam to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Partner with copy, ecommerce, and CX teams on briefs, approvals, customer touchpoints, and cross-functional execution.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience executing email and SMS marketing programs at DTC consumer brands, ideally in health, wellness, beauty, or consumables.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including advanced flow architecture, dynamic segmentation, deliverability optimization, A/B testing, and performance analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus and Recharge in a subscription DTC environment.
  • Proficiency with HTML and CSS for email template customization and rendering troubleshooting.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and AI platforms such as ChatGPT or Claude for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated procedural QA discipline with documented checklists and a track record of zero major send errors at scale.
  • Experience reconciling data across email, subscription, ecommerce, and attribution platforms.
  • Solid understanding of email and SMS compliance, including FTC, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR.
  • Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with a strategic leader.
  • Remote-first mindset with strong written communication; preferred to live within driving distance of Los Angeles, CA.
  • Preferred experience operating in a subscription DTC business model.
