Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs and microservices that support core platform functionality and integrations.
  • Develop full stack features across Angular frontends and Go-based backend services.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure to support efficient scaling and high performance.
  • Mentor software engineers and contribute to a culture of collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to improve quality and team efficiency.
  • Integrate generative AI capabilities into agency management software to improve usability and efficiency.
  • Evaluate priorities, options, and tradeoffs to guide development decisions.
  • Work with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver features.
  • Build and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or HHAeXchange leader.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience in software engineering roles building on modern architectures and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in one reactive JavaScript framework such as Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Proficiency in backend development such as Go, NodeJS, or Python, with Go strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Experience with high-performance SaaS solutions built on microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize and plan work independently and work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence is a plus.
  • Healthcare experience and familiarity with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards is a plus.
  • Travel 5-10%, including overnight domestic and international travel, is required.
