Description

  • Drive sales at new accounts through prospecting, quoting, and closing new business.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities within the assigned geography.
  • Schedule and conduct sales calls with current and prospective customers.
  • Manage the sales process for entering new centers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cardiologists, radiologists, interventional cardiologists, and other key stakeholders.
  • Educate customers and decision makers on the value of Heartflow’s technology through presentations and discussions.
  • Expand penetration and advocacy within existing accounts and among referring physicians.
  • Achieve sales goals for the assigned geography.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on adoption and penetration strategies.
  • Coordinate with CT Applications specialists, Implementation Managers, Field Billing Specialists, and others to support sales and customer service.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product development and market strategy.
  • Use Salesforce.com to manage sales leads, activities, and other business information.
  • Work from a home-based position and travel up to 30-50%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10+ years of healthcare and/or business-to-business sales experience in a cardio/cardiovascular environment.
  • Medical device sales experience is required.
  • Proven sales performance with a history of winning and driving revenue.
  • Experience selling into cardiology; radiology experience is a plus.
  • Experience developing and implementing go-to-market plans for new diagnostic or therapeutic areas.
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular disease and established relationships with practitioners in the assigned region.
  • Experience educating physicians on new technologies.
  • Experience creating tactical sales plans for segmentation and adoption planning.
  • Self-starter with high initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to discuss and explain complex technology.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $150,000 plus variable/commission.
  • Total target compensation of $300,000 with no cap on variable pay.
