Description

  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for revenue, expenses, provider compensation, margins, cash flow, deal pricing, and scenario planning.
  • Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages with variance analysis, KPI tracking, unit economics, and executive commentary.
  • Partner with department leaders to manage budgets, analyze costs, allocate resources, and investigate operational variances.
  • Clean, reconcile, and process large volumes of financial, operational, claims, and patient data using Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools.
  • Analyze healthcare revenue drivers including reimbursement trends, CMS allowables, wRVUs, provider productivity, and revenue cycle metrics.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analyses and reporting dashboards.
  • Assess the financial impact of patient growth, provider mix, and care model performance.
  • Use AI and automation tools to streamline repeatable finance workflows and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Support the monthly close process, GAAP-compliant reporting, accruals, revenue and expense analysis, internal controls, and ERP implementation.
  • Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and provider payment processes as needed while maintaining detailed model documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 4-8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, strategic finance, healthcare finance, corporate accounting, transaction advisory, or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare finance concepts such as CMS allowables, wRVUs, and provider productivity, plus core GAAP principles.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including complex formulas, scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and data cleansing.
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and handle complex financial analysis.
  • Comfort using modern AI productivity tools to enhance analysis and documentation while maintaining strict quality control.
  • Prior experience in health systems, provider groups, MSOs, digital health startups, or Big 4 accounting is preferred.
  • Experience with NetSuite or Sage is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, Power Query, or VBA is preferred.
  • Experience using Looker or Tableau is preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, MHA, or MPH is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet regular and sometimes intense deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations and communicate clearly with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
