Description

  • Perform data entry and updates in organizational databases and program tracking systems.
  • Review database records regularly to maintain data integrity and completeness.
  • Identify and help resolve data discrepancies across systems.
  • Clean, organize, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Support data quality checks to identify and resolve errors, duplicates, and inconsistencies.
  • Assist with basic data analysis, reporting, and visualizations for internal stakeholders.
  • Document data management processes and create user-friendly guides for data entry and retrieval.
  • Work closely with program and M&E staff to support ongoing evaluation efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve data quality and program measurement.

Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student in public health, data science, social sciences, or a related field.
  • Ability to commit 6-8 hours per week for the full academic year (August 2026 - June 2027).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning and basic analysis.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Reliable organizational habits and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and stay on top of assigned tasks.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, SharePoint, and other productivity tools (preferred).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or basic reporting (preferred).
  • Interest in adolescent health, wellness, youth programming, or nonprofit work (preferred).
  • Ability to travel to program sites as needed if local (preferred).
  • Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access.
