Description

  • Lead and develop engineering teams with focus on high performance and individual growth.
  • Translate company strategic and operational plans into technical direction and propagate alignment across teams.
  • Ensure delivery of technical solutions in partnership with Product Managers, Designers and other leaders.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders to guarantee transparency and alignment.
  • Promote a collaborative environment with psychological safety, continuous feedback and learning.
  • Define and drive technical strategies and engineering best practices (Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD, DevSecOps).
  • Define, collect and monitor OKRs and technical metrics (lead time, stability, test coverage, application health).
  • Encourage Inner Source initiatives, use of RFCs and a culture of living documentation.
  • Handle ambiguous problems and make prioritization trade-offs balancing deadlines and quality.
  • Influence technical decision-making to ensure product/platform quality, scalability and maintainability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with robust, scalable architectures and platform ownership.
  • Experience in mobile development (Android and/or iOS) and managing mobile platform/ internal dev client.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and HTTP protocols.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, SOLID principles, Clean Code and design patterns.
  • Experience with observability, telemetry, monitoring, troubleshooting and debugging of systems.
  • Experience with software testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E, stress, mutation testing).
  • Knowledge of databases (relational and non-relational), caching strategies and distributed processing.
  • Experience with DevOps practices: CI/CD, automation and DevOps culture.
  • Familiarity with analytics/metrics tools (e.g., Firebase, Google Analytics, Amplitude).
  • Preferred: experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP), Compose Multiplatform (CMP), React Native or backend development in Go/Node/C# and experience with large-scale/financial or high-availability systems.
