Description

  • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, including backend and mobile developers, to deliver end-to-end product evolution.
  • Design technical solutions with the engineering team, including feasibility analysis, technical planning, effort estimation, and timeline definition.
  • Project, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software focused on real customer problems.
  • Champion engineering best practices, design patterns, testing, documentation, and code review within the team.
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders on roadmap planning, backlog management, and delivery scope.
  • Define and follow Scrum/Kanban cycles and team rituals such as planning, daily meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Track metrics and OKRs, and drive action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Support team development through 1:1s, career development plans, performance reviews, and ongoing coaching.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection processes, including technical interviews and challenges.
  • Promote a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance team culture while supporting work-life balance and mental health.

Requirements

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams using agile methodologies.
  • Background in backend software development in at least one market language such as Golang, Java, or C#.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and the HTTP protocol.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Design Patterns.
  • Experience with requirements engineering, diagramming, UML, and documentation.
  • Experience with telemetry, monitoring, observability, and metrics.
  • Experience with software testing, including unit, integration, stress, and mutation testing.
  • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, caching strategies, and distributed processing.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, automation, and DevOps culture.
  • Mindset and working knowledge of agile principles, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms.
  • Preferred experience developing with Golang and/or C# or another modern backend language.
  • Preferred experience in financial products or projects.
  • Preferred experience in the Cards domain.
  • Preferred experience with critical, high-availability applications.
  • Preferred experience leading hybrid squads or working closely with the mobile development ecosystem.
