Description

  • Prospect and generate new business through outbound outreach, local association relationships, cattle auctions, and industry events.
  • Manage inbound leads promptly while balancing administrative tasks and in-field sales activities.
  • Conduct in-person sales conversations and product discussions on ranches, at kitchen tables, and in the field.
  • Expand existing customer relationships and identify upsell opportunities to grow account value over time.
  • Manage pipeline activity to achieve ambitious sales targets and prioritize deals effectively.
  • Own customer accounts after the sale, maintaining relationships and addressing product-related issues.
  • Ensure a smooth handoff from sales to customer onboarding and deployment teams.
  • Own the end-to-end customer onboarding and implementation experience in the territory.
  • Collect and share customer feedback and field learnings with internal teams to improve the product and service.
  • Collaborate with Support, Product, and Customer Onboarding teams to resolve issues and improve the US sales process.

Requirements

  • Based in or covering West Texas, USA.
  • Approximately 75% frequent travel within the territory.
  • Experience in ranching or cattle operations.
  • Proven background in sales and customer success, including creating new business opportunities and value-based conversations.
  • Experience managing a large territory with a balanced focus on sales and customer retention.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
  • Ability to problem-solve and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to work in high-stakes, high-growth environments.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
  • Preferred: Background in customer-facing agriculture technology or B2B SaaS sales.
