Description

  • Partner with customers to translate pre-sales plans and business outcomes into actionable objectives.
  • Guide customers on GitLab platform best practices and common use cases.
  • Support customers through their adoption journey and future use-case expansion.
  • Act as the primary liaison for customer questions, issues, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with Support, Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Professional Services as needed.
  • Own a book of assigned customers and manage adoption, retention, growth, and satisfaction.
  • Stay current on GitLab releases and communicate relevant updates to customers.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Git and typical branching strategies.
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and development pipeline.
  • Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
  • Prior experience in Customer Success or equivalent experience improving satisfaction, adoption, and retention.
  • Experience partnering with customers to define and achieve business outcomes.
  • Familiarity working with customers of sizes relevant to the assigned segment.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical approach.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
  • Project management experience and skills.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Alignment with GitLab values and willingness to work accordingly.
  • Willingness to travel if needed and comply with the company travel policy.
  • Fluent German.
