Description

  • Support the complete security technologies opportunity lifecycle, from pre-sales through delivery.
  • Engage with clients to understand security program gaps and recommend solutions.
  • Research emerging vendors and technologies to evaluate how they can solve customer challenges.
  • Communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop and maintain business and technical collateral for technical and managerial stakeholders.
  • Help mature the business by improving existing offerings and creating new ones.
  • Work remotely when not visiting client locations or attending events and meetings.
  • Travel locally and regionally for customer, vendor, and partner events.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to scope and deliver engagements.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Columbus or Cincinnati, Ohio.
  • Open to local and regional travel, up to 25%.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an enterprise-level security consultative, vendor, or operational role.
  • 5+ years of security engineering experience in the information security industry or as a technical lead for an internal information security program.
  • Proficiency with multiple security technologies, including network security and architecture, NGFW, cloud security, data security, vulnerability and risk management, proxy, EDR, IAM, and SIEM/analytics.
  • Deep proficiency in AI security, network security, NGFW, cloud security, DLP, CASB, proxy, IAM, and SIEM/analytics.
  • Deep expertise architecting and designing enterprise-scale security solutions.
  • Strong networking and security troubleshooting skills.
  • Deep proficiency with client and server operating systems, including Windows, Unix/Linux, and OSX.
  • Working knowledge of advanced security concepts such as zero trust and defense in depth.
  • Excellent communication and soft skills with the ability to explain complex technical content clearly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Previous pre-sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with tools and platforms such as Palo Alto, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Cloudflare, Wiz, and AWS/Azure/GCP is preferred.
