Description

  • Support assessment of training and education needs for the ERCM Pilot.
  • Identify role-specific knowledge, workflow, communication, and skill gaps among clinical and operational staff.
  • Develop customized instructor-led and web-based training materials, including workbooks, guides, presentations, and job aids.
  • Deliver or co-facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, webinars, and demonstrations.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using surveys, knowledge checks, feedback tools, and participation data.
  • Maintain training records, databases, schedules, rosters, and status reports.
  • Coordinate training logistics, participant communications, registration, attendance tracking, and course administration.
  • Support learning management system content upload, testing, maintenance, and basic learner troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with government leads, SMEs, implementation staff, and pilot-site stakeholders to align training with approved workflows.
  • Prepare briefing materials, agendas, updates, and presentations for meetings and stakeholder engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, healthcare administration, public health, communications, business administration, clinical discipline, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in training, education, instructional support, healthcare training, learning and development, or a related discipline.
  • Professional clinical experience or demonstrated understanding of healthcare delivery and clinical workflows (preferred).
  • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or Veterans Health Administration (VHA) (preferred).
  • Familiarity with VA suicide prevention programs and processes, including REACH VET, Risk ID, PDE, SPED, post-event outreach, and Veterans Crisis Line-related requests (preferred).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex program and clinical requirements into clear, practical learning experiences.
  • Experience with instructor-led and web-based training environments.
  • Ability to work with learning management systems and web-based training platforms.
  • Availability to coordinate with pilot sites and support phased implementation activities.
