Description

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of Field Operations Supervisors across major U.S. regions.
  • Own weekly one-on-ones, quarterly performance reviews, growth plans, and career development for direct reports.
  • Manage hourly field technician schedules and timesheets.
  • Hire new Field Operations Supervisors as the team expands regionally and internationally.
  • Coordinate training for new technician cohorts and refresh training for existing staff.
  • Manage day-to-day performance of the field supervisor team across active customer deployments.
  • Plan staffing capacity for customer demand, new expansions, and peak install cycles.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for safety issues, delays, contractor issues, and customer-facing field decisions.
  • Own and maintain playbooks, onboarding materials, standard operating procedures, and training programs.
  • Lead the field team’s interface with contracted line crews and support vendor performance management.
  • Provide structured field feedback to product design, install tooling, and field app development.
  • Track unit costs by region, customer, and crew with Finance and the Senior Manager of Field Operations.
  • Own daily execution of the safety program and enforce safety policies across deployments.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in field operations, construction operations, and/or high-quantity device installations.
  • 3+ years of experience managing field leads, foremen, or crew supervisors.
  • Direct experience with utilities, electrical infrastructure, or grid-adjacent hardware.
  • Experience managing hourly employee policies and timesheets.
  • Proven track record managing contracted field labor at scale, including vendor relationships and performance management.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build SOPs and playbooks from the ground up.
  • Comfort serving as the safety voice in the room and working within OSHA, NESC, or CA Construction standards; OSHA, NESC, and CA Construction standards experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 30–50% and work flexible hours during peak install windows and customer expansions.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience working with union labor is a bonus.
  • Background in construction, telecom, renewables, or utility operations is a bonus.
  • Experience managing line contractor vendor relationships, including SOWs, rate negotiations, and performance scorecards, is a bonus.
  • Comfort with iOS-based field apps, digital install workflows, and evolving field tooling is a bonus.
  • Experience operating across multiple utility customers and/or U.S. regions is a bonus.

Benefits

  • $145,000 - $160,000 annual salary.
