Description

  • Conduct technical screens and deep-dive interviews for data and AI roles covering SQL, Python, data modeling, ML theory, and applied system design.
  • Assess practical candidate skills including feature engineering, evaluation metrics, leakage detection, experiment design, and tradeoff analysis.
  • Evaluate production readiness of systems by probing monitoring, drift detection, CI/CD for ML, deployment patterns, reliability, and performance.
  • Provide clear, rubric-based feedback after interviews and participate in calibration and leveling sessions with hiring teams.
  • Improve and maintain question banks, scoring rubrics, and interview loops for data and AI roles to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Run structured interviews that cover statistics, data pipelines, ML fundamentals, model evaluation, experimentation, productionization, and responsible AI.
  • Tailor assessments to role-specific areas (Data Engineering, ML Engineering/DS, AI/GenAI, MLOps, NLP/CV) as applicable.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ML Engineering, Data Science, MLOps, or a blend of these disciplines.
  • Strong ability to evaluate SQL, Python, data modeling, and core ML fundamentals.
  • Experience with production data/ML systems, including monitoring, reliability, and performance considerations.
  • Structured interviewing experience preferred and strong rubric-writing skills.
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL/ELT, orchestration, warehouses/lakes, Spark) and ML engineering practices (model training, evaluation, feature stores).
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices (pipelines, model registry, CI/CD, observability/monitoring) and productionization patterns.
  • Understanding of AI/GenAI topics (LLM fundamentals, prompting, RAG concepts, guardrails) and NLP/CV concepts (embeddings, transformers, vision pipelines) is a plus.
  • Languages: Fluent English and Native Arabic.
