Description

  • Partner with the Sales team to explain Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Own technical customer engagements and help close high-velocity opportunities.
  • Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and technical evaluations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Communicate proactively with customers and internal teams to create a feedback loop on product needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems discovered during interactions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering by relaying customer feedback and market insights.
  • Contribute to enablement content such as documentation, blog posts, videos, and knowledge base articles.
  • Work as an early team member in a high-growth environment solving technical and customer problems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with open source technologies or in the metrics/monitoring space.
  • Ideally located in the Central Region of the U.S.
  • Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills for a varied and complex startup environment.
  • Experience working in a remote-first company and collaborating with an international team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate value and technical advantages.
  • A technical mindset with a desire to continue growing technically.
  • Ability to solve technical challenges and develop creative solutions for customers.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and creative attitude.
  • Previous post-sales or engineering experience is a plus.
  • Recent coding bootcamp graduates may be considered if they bring strong relevant skills and experiences.
