Description

  • Lead and manage a team of Pre-Sales Consultants supporting account executives in closing trials and new business.
  • Partner with account executives to run seamless product evaluations across key verticals.
  • Lead product demos, discovery calls, and tailored workshops to uncover customer needs and position value.
  • Translate client challenges into compelling use cases that demonstrate the value of AlphaSense.
  • Collaborate with Support, Sales, Product, Content, Marketing, and Sales Enablement to close feedback loops and influence roadmap priorities.
  • Coach and mentor team members through call coaching, best practices, onboarding, certification, and ongoing enablement.
  • Track and report team performance metrics and provide visibility to management.
  • Evaluate resource coverage models, support team growth, and recruit top talent.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional leaders to align on growth outcomes.
  • Aggregate client feedback and improve pilot programs, internal processes, and customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in sales or client success.
  • At least 2 years of direct people management experience leading a team of at least 5 client-facing people.
  • Experience working directly with users and clients to solve complex problems.
  • Experience operationalizing the customer journey and creating effective, scalable processes.
  • Ability to distill and explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • High aptitude and willingness to learn, with technical knowledge learned on the job.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-growing company and take ownership of the role.
  • Strong relationship-building, consultative, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Preferred: experience supporting a dynamic, entrepreneurial team culture and contributing proactively to company success.
