Description

  • Attract, recruit, ramp, and mentor a diverse team of Observability Architects.
  • Partner with Engagement Management to define and execute customer lifecycle frameworks.
  • Lead with a servant-based, player-coach approach while balancing field responsibilities and team needs.
  • Own retention and expansion outcomes for the region.
  • Plan and execute regional priorities based on leadership goals, including actions and outcomes.
  • Partner with US Sales leadership on customer programs, marketing initiatives, and community or company events.
  • Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts and act as a thought leader internally and externally.
  • Understand customer adoption strategies and develop programs and collateral to help them achieve their goals.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are reflected in the product.
  • Own quarterly team cadence and support prospect evaluations through demos, technical deep dives, trials, and POVs.
  • Educate users and architects on how to leverage the Grafana stack.
  • Assist with building and modifying critical SLA dashboards in production.
  • Work with sales to communicate Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
  • Share customer and market feedback with internal teams to inform product direction and competitive awareness.
  • Create and contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and enablement materials.

Requirements

  • Must be located in a PST time zone.
  • 3+ years leading a team.
  • 5+ years in the high-tech industry in roles such as TAM Manager, SE Manager, Developer, Sales Engineer/Architect, or similar.
  • Direct experience mentoring, developing people, and managing performance over time.
  • Experience with open-source selling or a cloud-first/product-led sales motion is a strong plus.
  • Deep knowledge of operational expertise in the Grafana platform (LGTM) and/or competing observability products.
  • Direct experience selling monitoring, data, or visualization products.
  • Ability to creatively solve customer adoption challenges.
  • Experience proactively troubleshooting technical issues and performing root cause analysis.
  • Ability to identify timely workarounds and solutions to meet customer business needs.
  • Extensive Grafana deployment design expertise.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with remote teams and global customers.
  • Ability to clearly articulate value proposition and technical advantages to customers.
  • Comfort solving technical challenges and developing creative customer solutions.
