Description

  • Map incentive compensation workflows and identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes.
  • Design and build automated workflows, integrations, and tooling for data pulls, reconciliations, approvals, and exceptions.
  • Own and configure Xactly ICM instances, including calculation rules, plan logic, and workflows.
  • Develop AI- and LLM-enabled automation for exception detection, reconciliation, plan review, and compensation inquiries.
  • Partner with Incentive Compensation, Finance, People Operations, Revenue Operations, IT, and Data teams to maintain reliable system integrations.
  • Create documentation, standard operating procedures, and controls for auditable, maintainable processes.
  • Establish a continuous improvement cadence to identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks.
  • Translate incentive compensation needs into system requirements and communicate system constraints as practical process recommendations.
  • Support urgent payout-cycle requests while converting recurring fixes into scalable systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in incentive compensation, sales operations, revenue operations, or systems/process improvement.
  • Experience in a fast-paced technology or SaaS business preferred.
  • Demonstrated success identifying inefficient processes and building systemized solutions.
  • Hands-on SQL experience and ability to query and reconcile data across systems.
  • Experience building automated workflows with scripting, RPA, workflow platforms, or incentive compensation systems such as Xactly, CaptivateIQ, Varicent, or SPIFF platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems, HRIS platforms, data warehouses such as BigQuery, and compensation management platforms.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and ability to translate operational workflows into system requirements.
  • Understanding of quotas, accelerators, SPIFFs, payout timing, and other core compensation mechanics.
  • Experience in high-growth SaaS, cloud, open-source, public-company, or IPO-readiness environments preferred.
  • Experience with globally distributed teams or AI/LLM automation, including MCP-based workflow documentation, preferred.
