Description

  • Own LLM-based systems from design through production support.
  • Design architectures for Generative AI systems, including RAG, agents, and tool/context serving.
  • Build and maintain production LLM-powered systems.
  • Develop chatbots and AI assistants with predictable behavior.
  • Design and implement RAG pipelines, including ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, and generation.
  • Implement agent-style workflows with tool and function calling.
  • Build and integrate MCP servers or similar context and tool-serving components.
  • Integrate AI systems with backend services and ML infrastructure.
  • Design evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs.
  • Monitor model behavior, system health, and costs in production.
  • Handle production incidents and drive long-term fixes and reliability improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering background.
  • Proven experience building LLM-based systems in production.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and RAG architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with chatbots or conversational AI systems.
  • Hands-on experience with tool/function calling and agent-style patterns.
  • Experience with context or tool-serving systems such as MCP or similar.
  • Experience integrating AI into real-time production products.
  • Understanding of performance, scalability, and cost trade-offs.
  • Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals in testing, debugging, code reviews, and observability.
  • Experience with multi-agent or workflow-based systems is preferred.
  • Experience fine-tuning or adapting open-source LLMs is preferred.
  • ML platform or MLOps background is preferred.
  • Experience operating latency-sensitive or cost-sensitive systems is preferred.
  • Production incident ownership in AI systems is preferred.
  • Technical stack familiarity with Python and SQL is listed.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source models is listed.
  • Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Pydantic, or Langfuse is listed.
  • Familiarity with embeddings and vector/search tools such as Qdrant, FAISS, OpenSearch, or pgvector is listed.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and OpenSearch is listed.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD is listed.
