Description

  • Lead cross-functional engineering and architecture teams in delivering complex AI systems from end to end.
  • Define and enforce reference architectures, technical patterns, delivery standards, and accelerators for enterprise AI adoption.
  • Provide senior architectural oversight for advanced distributed AI-powered applications across enterprise environments.
  • Integrate generative AI, intelligent agents, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) into production-ready software.
  • Promote best practices for performance, scalability, reliability, observability, and MLOps/LLMOps across AI engagements.
  • Advise executive stakeholders on enterprise AI strategy and prioritize high-value opportunities.
  • Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and visioning sessions to align solutions with business outcomes.
  • Oversee a portfolio of large-scale AI delivery programs and manage architectural risk and integrity.
  • Remove delivery blockers and solve architectural challenges to keep teams on track.
  • Mentor senior architects, tech leads, and engineers while building reusable frameworks, IP, and reference architectures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering or application development.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecture leadership roles delivering enterprise-scale systems.
  • Proven experience leading cloud-native, AI-driven applications from concept to production.
  • Experience guiding large-scale modernization or AI adoption programs across multiple business units.
  • Ability to build and execute technical strategies aligned with enterprise business goals.
  • Experience designing intelligent agent workflows using frameworks such as Semantic Kernel or LangChain.
  • Experience with vector databases, hybrid search, and RAG optimization techniques.
  • Experience building evaluation pipelines, golden datasets, quality gates, telemetry, feedback loops, and guardrails for LLM deployment.
  • Experience applying AI governance, safety, risk mitigation, and privacy controls to enterprise solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Databricks, ML/data pipelines, event-driven architectures, and scalable data systems.
  • Expertise with API-driven, microservices-based, and containerized architectures on Azure.
  • Deep familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, IaC, and Microsoft development ecosystems such as C#, .NET, and Azure Functions.
  • Experience building robust ETL/ELT systems with strong data quality and metadata governance practices.
  • Ability to integrate analytics and ML outputs into enterprise applications and BI environments.
  • Strong proficiency with modern development workflows, DevOps practices, GitHub, and AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Comfort working in Agile environments and driving iterative delivery.
  • Ability to align technical architecture with business outcomes and influence long-term strategy.
  • Experience contributing thought leadership through articles, talks, open source, frameworks, or accelerators.
  • Experience building reusable IP adopted across teams or practices.
  • Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer, Databricks certifications, or other relevant cloud/AI credentials are highly valued.
