Description

  • Analyze requirements and product changes to identify risks and define test coverage.
  • Design and execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end tests.
  • Validate functionality across UI, APIs, databases, integrations, and user flows.
  • Investigate defects across client, backend, data, integration, and environment layers.
  • Use browser DevTools, network tools, proxies, logs, API tools, and databases to identify root causes.
  • Test REST APIs and Backend functionality, including authentication, authorization, and API communication.
  • Validate data with SQL queries and relational databases.
  • Support software releases and contribute to release readiness decisions.
  • Communicate testing progress, blockers, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
  • Improve QA processes, documentation, and testing approaches while adapting to new products and contexts.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Software Testing or Manual QA, with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong experience testing Web applications, Backend systems, and REST APIs.
  • Understanding of HTTP, client-server architecture, authentication, authorization, and API communication.
  • Experience with Postman, Swagger, or similar API testing tools.
  • Understanding of relational databases and ability to write SQL queries.
  • Strong debugging skills using browser DevTools, network analysis, and traffic interception tools such as Charles Proxy, Proxyman, or Fiddler.
  • Experience with Git and development/release workflows, including branches, merges, pull requests, tags/releases, and basic conflict resolution.
  • Experience supporting releases and applying functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
  • Ability to work with incomplete requirements, ask questions, identify risks, and establish test coverage.
  • Practical use of AI tools such as Claude Code or ChatGPT in QA workflows; intermediate English or higher and fluency in Ukrainian or Russian. Preferred: Kafka, event-driven systems, microservices, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, test automation, performance testing, or high-load products.
