Description

  • Manage the national Environmental, Health, and Safety program across all domestic sites, including strategy, program development, and execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with business unit leaders and stakeholders to identify improvements and deliver scalable EHS solutions.
  • Oversee EHS compliance for facilities, operations, and field staff to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Develop the National EHS team through targeted growth and mentorship opportunities.
  • Optimize EHS processes for vendor and contractor management and performance accountability.
  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits to monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance at the project level.
  • Collect, maintain, and manage EHS documentation and records for both in-house and subcontractor operations.
  • Lead and support incident and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis, trend identification, and prevention recommendations.
  • Provide direction on injured worker claims and restricted work programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Occupational Health, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in program or project management within a corporate or industrial environment, including at least 2 years of management experience.
  • 7 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS).
  • Experience interpreting and applying Federal, State, and Local EHS regulations such as OSHA and EPA across a national footprint.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and contractors to improve EHS programs and drive accountability through performance plans.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to national sites as needed.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred.
  • 10 years of program or project management experience within a corporate or industrial environment, including 4 years of management experience preferred.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Real Estate, and Operations, and using data analytics to influence strategic decisions preferred.
  • Proven track record in large-scale change management preferred.
  • Experience planning and managing budgets for safety equipment and environmental remediation projects preferred.

Benefits

  • US base salary range of $118,400 to $173,400, plus bonus, cash award, and benefits.
  • Full-time position.
