Description

  • Lead an assigned Specialty Liaison team and direct activities that support a high-quality patient experience in specialty clinics.
  • Coach, develop, and support liaison staff while reinforcing Shields culture at partner sites.
  • Provide ongoing performance coaching, feedback, training, and professional development for the liaison team.
  • Facilitate communication between liaisons, Shields functional groups, pharmacy teams, and clinic teams.
  • Meet or exceed operational targets related to clinic service, growth, patient satisfaction, and patient outcomes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and support growth at health system partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clinic leadership, pharmacy teams, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives such as new clinic launches and workflow changes.
  • Ensure execution and accountability for prior authorizations, patient financial assistance, medication refills, patient appointments, and patient outreach.
  • Resolve clinic issues, create action plans, coordinate coverage when liaisons are absent, and partner with analytics and support teams on improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment with direct patient and clinician contact required.
  • National Certification as a CPhT, or equivalent, and prior experience as a licensed pharmacy technician preferred.
  • Experience in retail, hospital, or provider settings communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals is a plus.
  • Experience in an outpatient or medical clinic setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to quickly learn other programs and extract relevant information.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage performance against quantitative metrics without compromising clinical quality.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $70,000 to $95,000 per year.
