Description

Lead the design and development of scalable, secure applications across the stack, from React user interfaces to backend services.
Design architecture that supports AI/ML-powered features across user-facing and API surfaces.
Drive major initiatives from ideation and planning through execution and delivery.
Break complex projects into MVPs and prioritized, manageable releases.
Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and data privacy regulations.
Mentor mid-level and junior engineers to support growth, learning, and technical excellence.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve applications and development processes.
Communicate progress, goals, and expectations clearly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Build tools and services that help the team experiment with and ship AI-enhanced features efficiently.

Requirements

5+ years of full-stack software development experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and REST APIs.
Experience with state management tools such as Redux, XState, or Nanostores is a plus.
At least 1+ year of experience working with AI/ML solutions or LLMs preferred.
Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development, testing, and deployment.
Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD for AI pipelines, and AI observability tools.
Deep understanding of architecture and best practices, including RESTful APIs, databases, secure coding, and responsive design.
Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, and Step Functions.
Familiarity with application layers that interface with large language models or machine learning systems.
Experience building and integrating LLM features using tools such as OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, or similar.
Experience with prompt design, vector storage, and retrieval strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across product and engineering teams.
Experience in FinTech or Mortgage is a bonus.

Benefits

Remote, US-based work arrangement.
Full-time position.
Annual salary range of $146,000 to $170,000.
Eligibility for a bonus in addition to base salary.
