Description

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure applications across the stack, from React user interfaces to backend services.
  • Design architecture that supports AI/ML-powered features across user-facing and API surfaces.
  • Drive major initiatives from ideation and planning through execution and delivery.
  • Break complex projects into MVPs and prioritized, manageable releases.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and data privacy regulations.
  • Mentor mid-level and junior engineers to support growth, learning, and technical excellence.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve applications and development processes.
  • Communicate progress, goals, and expectations clearly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Build tools and services that help the team experiment with and ship AI-enhanced features efficiently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack software development experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux, XState, or Nanostores is a plus.
  • At least 1+ year of experience working with AI/ML solutions or LLMs preferred.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development, testing, and deployment.
  • Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD for AI pipelines, and AI observability tools.
  • Deep understanding of architecture and best practices, including RESTful APIs, databases, secure coding, and responsive design.
  • Experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB, and Step Functions.
  • Familiarity with application layers that interface with large language models or machine learning systems.
  • Experience building and integrating LLM features using tools such as OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, or similar.
  • Experience with prompt design, vector storage, and retrieval strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction across product and engineering teams.
  • Experience in FinTech or Mortgage is a bonus.

Benefits

  • Remote, US-based work arrangement.
  • Full-time position.
  • Annual salary range of $146,000 to $170,000.
  • Eligibility for a bonus in addition to base salary.
