Description

  • Drive partner technical success by helping schools fully integrate with GiveCampus and adopt advanced capabilities.
  • Serve as the technical voice of the partner by advising advancement teams and building trusted relationships.
  • Develop deep expertise in advancement CRMs and related school systems, then turn that knowledge into guidance and best practices.
  • Build integration tools, custom applications, and prototypes that solve partner data and workflow needs.
  • Collaborate with Advancement Services and Platform Product & Engineering teams to surface partner feedback and influence roadmap decisions.

Requirements

  • 6-10+ years of experience in advancement, fundraising operations, or technical partner-facing roles at a SaaS, ed-tech, or nonprofit-serving company.
  • Deep, hands-on understanding of advancement team workflows, pain points, and systems.
  • Strong technical foundation with experience in APIs, data modeling, and integration patterns.
  • Track record of building tools, internal applications, integrations, or frameworks that others use.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible solutions for both fundraising leaders and engineering teams.
  • Strong desire to build and help shape a best-in-class Partner Operations function as the role evolves.
  • Dedication to GiveCampus’s mission of advancing the quality, affordability, and accessibility of education.
  • Hands-on experience with major advancement CRMs such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, Salesforce/Affinaquest, Slate Advancement, Anthology, or Ellucian Advance is a plus.
  • Experience working inside or alongside advancement services or operations teams at a college, university, or independent school is preferred.
  • Software development experience in Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or similar is a plus.
  • Startup experience and the ability to find a way without heavy process is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising and development roles at educational institutions, with prior fundraising experience ideal.
  • Volunteer experience supporting school fundraising or alumni engagement is a plus.
