Description

  • Engage with prospects and customers across Latin America, onsite and remotely, throughout the pre-sales process.
  • Collaborate with regional sales directors and account executives to shape and execute account strategies that drive adoption.
  • Own technical evaluations, including proof of value activities, tender responses, audit responses, and workshop delivery.
  • Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual on Customer Success Plans and manage technical risks against customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and help turn them into GitLab advocates.
  • Act as the customer advocate by sharing feedback and insights with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Run value stream assessments to identify improvement opportunities and expand GitLab usage.
  • Educate customers on GitLab, modern software development practices, CI/CD, and cloud technologies.
  • Maintain and deepen technical expertise through training, certifications, and reusable technical examples for customers and partners.

Requirements

  • Background in technical pre-sales, solution consulting, or information technology roles supporting a sales cycle or customer adoption journey.
  • Experience with modern software development or operations practices, including version control, CI/CD, and cloud-based environments.
  • Understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Latin America.
  • Ability to design and present technical solutions, including proofs of concept, workshops, and technical evaluations.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal partners and represent customer needs internally.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to different customer segments and industries.
  • Openness to learning new technologies and applying transferable skills to the GitLab platform and ecosystem.
  • Location-based eligibility to work remotely from Mexico, with some roles subject to specific country requirements.
