Description

  • Define and drive enterprise architecture strategy for how internal systems connect, integrate, and scale across core business applications.
  • Establish and lead the Architecture Review Board to guide technical approaches and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.
  • Design and govern integration architectures and data flow patterns, including API-first, point-to-point, data warehouse, and reverse ETL models.
  • Co-own internal AI program strategy and delivery with the Director of AI Engineering and CIO.
  • Create and execute an automation strategy spanning agentic AI, RPA, and traditional integration technologies.
  • Reduce shadow IT and software sprawl by implementing software governance, centralizing fragmented solutions, and eliminating redundant capabilities.
  • Ensure enterprise, integration, and AI architectures meet SOX compliance, security requirements, and audit-ready controls.
  • Align decentralized system roadmaps with enterprise architecture strategy and address technical debt across teams.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to Integration, RPA, and AI Engineering teams.
  • Partner early with system owners and cross-functional stakeholders to shape architecture decisions and technology patterns.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience defining and governing enterprise architecture in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience leading architecture strategy across ERP, CRM, CPQ, billing, and financial platforms.
  • Deep technical background in integration, automation, and AI.
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to Architecture, Integration, RPA, or AI Engineering design discussions.
  • Proven track record building and scaling AI and automation programs.
  • Hands-on familiarity with vector databases, large language models, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
  • Expert-level knowledge of data modeling, integration architecture patterns, and API design.
  • Experience designing integration strategies for both operational and analytical use cases.
  • Experience establishing and leading architecture review boards or similar governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success reducing shadow IT and software sprawl through software governance and portfolio rationalization.
  • Deep understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and security architecture for business applications.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills with VP- and C-level stakeholders.
