Description

  • Manage inbound lead flow effectively.
  • Conduct high-level discovery conversations with target accounts.
  • Meet or exceed SDR-sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) volume targets.
  • Collaborate with teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and develop accounts using business and industry knowledge.
  • Use calls, email, social, and other touches to engage leads in assigned territory.
  • Track and report activities and results in Salesforce.
  • Document and update sales development processes in the GitLab handbook.
  • Mentor new SDR hires as they learn key accounts.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French is required.
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required globally.
  • Positive and energetic phone skills, strong listening skills, and strong writing skills.
  • A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements.
  • Knowledge of business process, roles, and organizational structure.
  • Determined personality with a desire to grow and win.
  • Proficiency using Salesforce.
  • Previous tech industry experience or experience in sales development, marketing, or sales is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn GitLab and DevOps through onboarding and training.
  • Alignment with GitLab’s values and ability to work in accordance with them.
