Description

  • Deliver technical training on Genetec products to customers, resellers, distributors, and internal staff.
  • Update training materials to reflect new product releases and changes in functionality.
  • Create training presentations, manuals, course outlines, and digital reference materials.
  • Improve training documentation and tools in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Maintain current, in-depth knowledge of Genetec products and functionality.
  • Set up classrooms, support labs, grade exams, and follow up on course questions.
  • Facilitate instructor-led technical courses using servers, clients, networks, and devices.
  • Deliver online instructor-led courses using cloud-based virtual environments and an LMS.
  • Communicate course feedback to internal teams to support process and product improvements.
  • Adapt technical explanations for different audiences, including end users and administrators.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering technical training, preferably in software training.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time within the assigned territory and occasionally overseas.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems and virtual machines.
  • Excellent knowledge of networking principles and IP configuration.
  • Experience with database concepts and client-server environments.
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting methods.
  • Experience with physical access control systems and video management systems.
  • Experience with online training delivery, e-learning, and LMS platforms is an asset.
  • Experience with cloud-based technology and cybersecurity concepts is an asset.
