Description

  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Lead and manage commercial activities across DACH, Italy, and Slovenia to develop the territory and grow revenue.
  • Identify, develop, and close key opportunities in pharmaceutical, biopharma, CRO, environmental science, and academic research markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans and proposals to expand business across the region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, weekly reports, and detailed account records in the CRM system.
  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends to shape competitive strategies and solutions.
  • Present technology, applications, and value propositions to scientific and commercial audiences.
  • Collaborate with Field Application Scientists and Service teams on demonstrations, evaluations, and post-sales support.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, scientific conferences, user group meetings, and virtual events.

Requirements

  • BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of successful capital equipment sales experience in the life sciences sector.
  • Experience with Bio-Layer Interferometry (BLI) or Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) technologies preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience developing and executing territory sales plans with a long-term strategic focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Clean driver's license.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory and be willing to travel, including overnight travel.
