Description

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Manage and deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes.
  • Implement monitoring and logging solutions to identify and resolve performance issues, security threats, and outages.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with federal security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply access controls, encryption, and data protection measures across cloud systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams, security teams, and other stakeholders to integrate and operate cloud services.
  • Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and support ongoing reliability and scalability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP, preferably in a federal environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate technical certificate in a technical field.
  • Deep understanding of GCP services, networking, security, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
  • Understanding of federal security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience working in a federal environment is preferred.
  • Professional Google Cloud Platform certification is highly desired.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and firewalls.
  • Cloud certifications in architecture, data engineering, and/or machine learning are preferred.
  • Background working with government technology projects and programs is preferred.
  • Demonstrated empathy and respect for stakeholders and their needs.
