Description

  • Manage, mentor, and support a team of pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient prescription processing and operational excellence.
  • Monitor workflows and production activities to improve efficiency, quality metrics, and overall operational performance.
  • Review and monitor patient profile intake to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with pharmacy standards.
  • Use metrics, reports, and dashboards to track team performance against targets and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and workload distribution to meet goals for production, quality, and safety.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, corrective action, and recognition to support employee development and performance.
  • Drive process improvements and operational enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Work closely with internal leaders, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support operational initiatives and alignment.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, promotions, and performance evaluations of team members.
  • Ensure pharmacy technicians are trained on logistics, equipment, and company policies while maintaining regulatory and safety standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience, preferably in a community or retail pharmacy environment.
  • Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of residence.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, and performance management in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and implement process improvements in a fast-paced setting.
  • Experience establishing and analyzing metrics, reports, and dashboards to track performance and drive operational improvements.
