Description

  • Help product teams define and improve testing strategies across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.
  • Review test scenarios, automated tests, and quality-related technical decisions.
  • Analyze defects, flaky tests, and testing results to identify recurring issues.
  • Drive quality improvements based on metrics and observed testing trends.
  • Support teams in building reliable and scalable test automation.
  • Contribute to shared test frameworks, helpers, utilities, and tooling.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and QA engineers across the organization.
  • Educate and mentor teams on testing practices and automation approaches.
  • Ensure test automation does not negatively impact CI performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience testing web client-server applications.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience writing automated E2E and integration tests.
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Understanding of frontend architecture, especially React.
  • Understanding of backend architecture, especially Node.js and NestJS.
  • Experience developing or maintaining test frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of testing levels, including unit, integration, and E2E.
  • Experience writing test scenarios or defining test strategy.
  • Experience reviewing automated tests through code review.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar.
  • Experience with Docker, including images, networks, volumes, and docker-compose.
  • Ability to influence quality through processes, not only code.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ownership mindset and willingness to take responsibility for quality decisions.
  • Preferred experience introducing testing or automation processes in teams.
  • Preferred experience working with quality metrics such as flaky rate, coverage, and CI performance.
  • Preferred experience analyzing defects and improving processes.
  • Preferred experience conducting trainings, workshops, or mentoring.
  • Preferred experience working across multiple product teams.
  • Preferred experience building or evolving E2E frameworks.
  • Preferred experience reducing flaky tests and optimizing CI.
  • Preferred experience in platform or enablement teams.
