Description

  • Design and execute a go-to-market strategy for the Higher Education sector.
  • Identify market shifts and competitive whitespace to refine the ideal customer profile.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for Tier 1 accounts and build relationships with senior university stakeholders.
  • Recruit, mentor, and scale a specialized team of business development and segment leaders.
  • Establish forecasting, territory design, and performance analytics processes to drive predictable revenue growth.
  • Translate regional wins into repeatable global playbooks.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap based on institutional compliance and integration needs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on vertical-specific thought leadership campaigns.
  • Work with Customer Success to monitor onboarding health and support retention and expansion.
  • Own pipeline generation, revenue targets, and segment performance reporting for executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in sales leadership, business development, or go-to-market strategy within complex SaaS or institutional environments.
  • Proven track record of managing managers and scaling high-performance teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles and committee-based buying processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect product capabilities to institutional financial outcomes.
  • Strong executive presence and credibility in board-level meetings and major industry conferences.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in RevOps tools, forecasting models, and performance metadata.
  • Deep curiosity about the intersection of AI, philanthropy, and institutional advancement.
  • Experience in Higher Education, Nonprofit, or EdTech is strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth, venture-backed environment is a plus.

  • OTE of $370,000 to $385,000.
