Description

  • Design and improve recruiting processes so they are consistently adopted and effective in day-to-day operations.
  • Lead and build recruiting systems and workflows while staying close to execution as a player-coach.
  • Identify breakdowns, bottlenecks, and friction points in the hiring process and resolve them.
  • Strengthen connections between Greenhouse, Gem, Workday, and other hiring tools to reduce manual gaps and workarounds.
  • Bring structure to ambiguous recruiting problems and turn them into clear, practical operating practices.
  • Use data to assess pipeline health, monitor process performance, and prioritize improvements.
  • Apply automation and AI in practical ways that improve speed and quality without adding unnecessary complexity.
  • Work with People Ops, HRIS, or IT to improve integrations and data flow.
  • Support recruiters and hiring managers with clearer process, fewer resets, and less administrative overhead.
  • Help ensure recruiting changes are implemented in practice and continue improving over time.

Requirements

  • Experience designing and improving recruiting processes in ways that change how teams actually operate.
  • Hands-on experience with core recruiting systems such as Greenhouse and Gem.
  • Familiarity with HRIS tools such as Workday.
  • Experience evaluating, implementing, and improving systems and tooling.
  • Experience working across People Ops, HRIS, or IT to improve integrations and data flow.
  • A builder mindset with comfort starting from scratch, testing ideas, and iterating.
  • Strong judgment about where process adds value and where it creates friction.
  • Awareness of compliance considerations in recruiting systems, including data privacy such as GDPR and responsible handling of candidate data.
  • Ability to use data to identify issues, slowdowns, and breakdowns, and determine what to do about them.
  • Systems thinking that connects tools, workflows, people, and data end to end.
  • Experience supporting or leading others to operate more effectively within a system.
  • Comfort stepping into execution when needed while maintaining a broader systems view.
