Description

  • Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities, shape technical strategy, and support pursuit execution.
  • Lead discovery sessions to assess current-state processes, user needs, operational challenges, regulatory considerations, and business outcomes.
  • Translate industry priorities into practical Salesforce solution approaches with Industry SMEs.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend solution alternatives while communicating tradeoffs.
  • Design scalable Salesforce solutions using Financial Services Cloud, Insurance capabilities, Agentforce, Data Cloud, Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and integration patterns.
  • Develop demonstrations, prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and executive presentations tailored to client scenarios.
  • Support technical win strategies and differentiate Formativ throughout the sales cycle.
  • Lead the technical portions of proposals, RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work, and client presentations.
  • Work with Delivery leaders and Solution Architects to ensure solutions are practical, implementable, and aligned with delivery best practices.
  • Contribute reusable demos, reference architectures, solution assets, and presales collateral, and capture insights to improve offerings.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Solution Engineering, enterprise consulting, solution architecture, or a comparable customer-facing role.
  • Meaningful experience in financial services.
  • Experience supporting complex Salesforce transformation initiatives and consulting pursuits in Insurance, Wealth & Asset Management, Banking, or related segments.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Financial Services Cloud, Insurance capabilities, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, and integration patterns.
  • Ability to translate financial-services requirements into practical solution designs that balance value, complexity, risk, and maintainability.
  • Outstanding discovery, facilitation, presentation, communication, and executive engagement skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Sales, Industry SMEs, Alliances, Delivery, and Executive Leadership.
  • Practical understanding of financial-services operating models, terminology, customer journeys, and regulatory constraints, especially in Insurance and Wealth & Asset Management; Banking experience is valuable.
  • Salesforce certifications required; Financial Services Cloud, AI, and Data Cloud certifications are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship is available.
  • Must reside in one of the listed U.S. states or Washington, DC.
