Description

  • Process biweekly or semi-monthly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees across clinical, hourly, and corporate teams.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, deductions, and benefits contributions.
  • Maintain payroll system data integrity and update records for hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation changes.
  • Partner with TriNet and Finance on payroll reporting, reconciliations, and compliance support.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for payroll questions and resolve employee issues promptly.
  • Administer leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, state and local leave laws, parental leave, personal leave, and workers' compensation leaves.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, managers, healthcare providers, and third-party leave administrators throughout the leave process.
  • Review leave documentation, determine eligibility, manage return-to-work planning, and handle ongoing case management.
  • Partner with People Operations, Clinical Leadership, and Legal teams on pay impacts, benefits continuation, scheduling, and reasonable accommodations.
  • Support audits and reporting requirements and help improve payroll and leave operational processes.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR or people operations.
  • Proficiency with payroll and HRIS systems, specifically TriNet.
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and tax requirements.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-stage company is a plus.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with multi-state payroll and tax compliance is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry requirements such as credentialing, licensure, and timekeeping standards is preferred.
